"I just wannabe sedated"
I Gave You My Heart
I gave you my heart
where the deeply kissing river
merges with the bombastic see
"t say ya saw
a thee in we
minds wings fleeing
the fleeting
moments annointing
this blink in time
increasing the swim of whims
where the deeply kissing river
merges with the bombastic see
I gave my heart
for a thee in we

day off
roof dripping
water hauled
oak stacked
fir split
soup steams
day dreaming
baby girl
in the oven
gray breeze
storm coming
stove fed
ashes spread
you in bed
cabin quiet
painting drys
light sighs

Tunnel Vision
his boppy walk
at no one talk
stalking the unseen
life as a dream
he walks Nederland's streets
as town stores
dispense love galore
paid not for doing
but for being
somebody plodding
in summertime Sorels
blizzard gear
most of the year
snorkle hood his porthole
him inside his ocean
out bopping & shopping
with a pocket full of frozen trout
baggie of a skinned hare
his offering hitchhiking
answering machine on
clock stopped quoting Fulbright's
opinion & today's wildlife options
his boppy walk
at no one talk
trailing dogs bark
Nathan's daily mission
Oh!
Oh! You make me feel so Osprey
i'm coming in
over the lake between us
entering
where the tangled
brush is seeping
I fly up the avalance chutes
thermal moanings
jet me toward the heights
the sky purples us
& i dive
down t' where the ancient lightfish play
Oh! you make me feel so Osprey
